RAFIKI SEWING STATION
In July 2025, we created a sewing station in the village of Rafiki. We taught women the skill of sewing. Currently seven women are sewing our "Rafiki Wa Kenya" products, which gives them a steady income. With this they can better support their families. Each day they sew, we study God's Word and pray together. Once weekly they participate in interactive CHE lessons (Community Health Evangelism) in which we integrate Bible teaching with physical/mental/social health lessons. The women are growing and learning how to lead others to multiply impact in Rafiki.

WOMEN'S CLASSES
In addition to teaching the women in the sewing station, we also teach two other women's groups. One is in a forest community called Siyenga. The class is reaching women have had little to no foundation in Christ. We are helping them to build that foundation, and to help others do the same. The second community is called Maili Saba which is near Kitale town. We are building relationships which make a meaningful difference in the lives of women of very diverse ages and backgrounds.

YOUTH OUTREACH

Our CHE CLUB in Rafiki village is a weekly interactive class engaging 300 youths ages 12-16 years. We utilize the CHE curriculum with a focus on God's principles of whole-person health. We also teach an o Siyenga, an older group ages 6 to 22 years. In these classes we have share the Truth of Christ Jesus, focusing on topics such as overcoming fear and anxiety, dealing with peer pressure, healing from trauma, effects of alcohol and drugs, consequences of sex outside of marriage, and much more. We also personally mentor young people one-on-one, counseling them, praying with them, and sharing God's Word with them on a regular basis.
Our missionaries are also involved in other activities which empower people living in severe poverty. Example of this are operating a general shop sustaining two disabled women; bringing small capital for microbusiness serving widows and young mothers; and sponsoring students in their education, particularly at the college level.
